Our training is very inexpensive. We have visited a number of locations and schools and have found none that charge less than $60 per hour for training. Our reason for keeping the training costs cheap is to encourage you to take lessons so that you are well trained and can enjoy the kiteboarding experience quickly. We want to make it easy for you to learn.

We are kiters that understand the importance of good training to enjoy the sport. We want you safe and want you to enjoy the sport as well. We also want you to come back because you have enjoyed the experience you have had with us.

Part of the reason that we want to provide training is that we have had feedback from many students that have indicated that the progress in just 1 hour of training can provide as much as 6 months progress without training. That is 1 hour vs 6 months. This may sound hard to believe to someone who has no kiting experience, but we have found it to be very true.

Also, please keep in mind that our primary concern is about your safety. Kiteboarding can be a very dangerous sport without instruction. Proper instruction greatly reduces the risk to you and everyone around you.

For those of you that are “almost” riding, we have found that you will still likely benefit from a full week of instruction. When you consider the cost of a full week of instruction is the same as an hour anywhere else, perhaps you will see the value in taking the full week of instruction. Also we have found individuals with little kiting experience benefit from regular assistance to progress quickly. We have no intention of making you “back-up” on your instruction, i.e. force you to repeat earlier instruction, but we need to know where you are to know how to help you.

So if you are a newbie, or you have been trying to kite without much progress, come join us and sign up for instruction. Odds are you will be riding upwind before you go home and you will have caught the “bug” just like we have and you will be making plans for kiting again.
