If you are ever in Martinique or you ever want to charter a nice boat in Martinique, do yourself a favor and look up Yvon and Anne Szekely of Autremer Concept. These wonderful people can’t be helpful enough. They have many years of experience and a fantastic crew to get the boats ready and keep them in great shape. Yvon is affectionately know by other skippers as “The Teacher” because he not only knows the boats, sailing, and the area extremely well, but he is quite capable and patient in teaching so that anyone can learn from him, even if that anyone is learning in English. The team from Autremer Concept take care of everything, and Yvon is a very hands-on manager, greeting new guests, moving yachts around, and fixing plumbing problems, all while directing his staff in similar tasks.

I can’t promise you perfect sailing weather, although it has been very good overall while we have been in Martinique, but I can promise you that you will be quite impressed with the professionalism, character, integrity, and charm of Autremer Concept and you will leave with the feeling that you have found good friends, even new family.
